Yiigo Windows Image Viewer Annotation support has those following functionalities:
  • Create annotation, such as line, arrow, freehand, rectangle, filled rectangle, ellipse, filled ellipse, polygon, filled polygon, highlight, sticky note, and text
  • Move, group, reorder annotation
  • Change annotation size, rotation angle, color, font size & style
  • Lock or unlock annotations
  • Save or load annotations as a separate XML
  • Save or load annotations embedded in a TIFF, JPEG, or PDF image

Annotation on Windows Image Viewer

Requirements

Before annotating on the Windows Image Viewer, make sure that you have installed.
  • Windows OS: Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP, etc
  • Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008
  • .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 4.0
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008, 2010
  • Yiigo.Image for .NET Setup

Create Annotations

  • Click on the "Annotation" button on the menu;
    Click and drag "FreeHand" on the document to create free-hand annotations;
    Click and drag "LINE" on the document to create line annotations;
    Click and drag "RECTANGLE" on the document create rectangle (filled or regular) annotations;
    Click and drag "ARROWS" on the document to create arrow annotations;
    Click and drag "TEXT" on the document to create editable text annotations;
    Click and drag "ELLIPSES" on the document to create ellipses (filled or regular) annotations;
    Click and drag "POLYGON" on the document to create polygon (filled or regular) annotations;
    Click and drag "Redaction" on the document to create redaction annotations for sensitive information;
    Click and drag "Burn In" on the document to burn annotations onto the current page;
  • Release the mouse when you are done drawing the annotation.

Resize and Delete Annotations

  • Select the annotation you want to customize;
  • Right-click it and open it build-it property table;
  • Enter "Width" (like 23) and "height" (like 10) on the "Size" table to change it size;
  • Select the "Delete" button to delete.

Move, Group Annotations

  • Select the annotation you want to customize;
  • Right-click it and open it build-it property table;
  • Enter the place you want to move annotation on "Position" table;
  • Choose the annotation you want to group, highlight them;
  • Right-click and choose "Group".

Change Annotation Properties

  • Select the annotation you want to customize;
  • Right-click it and open it build-it property table;
  • Enter rotation angle on "Rotate" to change annotation rotation angle;
  • Enter color value on "BackColor" and "ForeColor" to change annotation background and foreground color;
  • Enter size, color, and effects value on "Font" to change annotations font color, size, effects, etc.

Save Annotations

  • Select the annotation;
  • Right-click it and select the "Save".
