Requirements

Before scanning documents & images with ISIS-compatible devices on the Windows Image Viewer, make sure that you have installed.

Acquire Image & Document from ISIS Scanner

  • Open your Windows Imaging Viewer and drag ISISScanner onto it;
  • Open build-in property table and go to "Acquire" tab;
  • Select "Acquire Image" to scan image & documents in a variety of file formats;
  • Select "Acquire In-memory" to acquire image & documents directly in memory;
  • Select "Acquire to File" to acquire image & documents directly to file;

Control & Get ISIS Scanner Property

  • Open build-in property table and go to "Acquire" tab;
  • Select "Mixed Scan" to capture dithered binary data from non-textual areas of the page, and non-dithered binary from the textual portion;
  • Select "Contrast" to change or return current contrast value used when scanning;
  • Select "Brightness" to change or return current brightness value used when scanning;
  • Select "Data Compression" to change or return current data compression method used when scanning;
  • Select "Page Size" to change or return current the page size value used when scanning;
  • Select "Resolution" to change or return current the resolution in dpi used when scanning.

Detect Barcode with ISIS Scanner

  • Open build-in property table and go to "Barcode Detection" tab, enable it;
  • Select "Barcode Type" to return the supported barcode types for this device;
  • Select "Barcode Data" to return the barcode encoding data for this device;
  • Select "Check Digit" to return computing checksum if have one;
  • Select "Supplement Data" to return supplementary data if you read UPC/EAN, ISSN, ISBN barcodes;
  • Select "Barcode Size" to return barcode size related setting value for this device;
  • Select "Barcode Imaging" to return barcode image related setting value for this device;
  • Select "Barcode Text" to return barcode human-readable text related setting value for this device;

Save to File or Stream

  • Open build-in property table and go to "Save" tab;
  • Select "Save to File" to save scanned results to file;
  • Select "Save to Stream" to save scanned results to stream.
