Yiigo .NET DICOM Plugin enables .NET applications to open, view and print Digital Radiography (CR, DX), Mammography (MG), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), Positron Emission Tomography PET-CT (PT), Digital Angiography (XA) using the .NET Framework.

Other popular medical images, such as Monochromatic (e.g. CR, CT, MR) and color (e.g. US, 3D reconstructions), Static images (e.g. CR, MG, CT) and dynamic sequences (e.g. XA, US), lossy and lossless DICOM-compliant formats (including 8-bit and 16-bit grayscale images) can also be handled.

Equipped with Yiigo .NET DICOM Plugin, users may easily read & read DICOM medical images both old and new style DICOM Formats from the local folder, Web server or ISIS and TWAIN scanners. All the patient metadata can be read from the image with great easy.

Using this Yiigo .NET DICOM Plugin, medical images can be decoded into 8-bit Gray, 16-bit gray, 24-bit RGB, or 48-bit RGB colorspaces. Additionally, 10-bit, 12-bit, and 14-bit gray may be read if they are promoted to 16-bit gray.

Integrated with the Yiigo.Image for .NET, full windows based or web based Annotations, Image processing, Conversion and Compression support are provided for a better performance.
